Mark Veer is no stranger to Collingwood. His familiarity with the area began with a love for skiing. As long-standing members of Craigleith Ski Club since 1976, and spanning three generations, Mark has carefully observed the market’s growth and evolution. When Mark and his young family decided to uproot from the hustle and bustle of Armour Heights in Toronto and permanently relocate to Collingwood, he also made the decision to pursue a new career in real estate, a business that fascinated him.
Mark holds a BA in Economics from University of Western Ontario, following which he launched into entrepreneurship as the principle in Surreal Silks, manufacturing and distributing high end artificial interior plant décor to offices and commercial entities.
From there Mark went on to become Owner/General Manger of a logistics company called Crossdock. For the next 12 years Mark honed his skills in this demanding business
His quest for adventure continued into 2010 when Mark created a fun-filled learning board game geared at teaching kids to read. Grossabulary was launched into toy stores and specialty retail stores in 2011 and quickly took off, earning it the “Dr. Toy’s Best Vacation product of 2012”. Grossabulary’s success demonstrates not only Mark’s creative mind but his ability to bring a product to market and successfully sell it through.
Through all his endeavors Mark has been recognized as a committed, service oriented businessman with a strong work ethic and a need to do it differently.
Mark’s warm and personable approach quickly puts his real estate clients at ease, confident in the knowledge that he listens and understands. Mark operates with a level of tenacity that guarantees his clients get exactly what they seek in a new home.
This is not a hobby or a part-time interest for Mark. He is fully committed to the real estate business and most importantly to providing real results for clients, whether buying or selling.
